Developer, retro gaming enthusiast, and Xbox Dev Mode tinkerer. XB Homebrew Vault started as a personal tool to manage emulators on an Xbox Series S without touching the Device Portal web UI every time — and grew from there.
Built with .NET 8 + Avalonia UI, fully open source under GPL‑3.0. If it scratches your itch too, a ⭐ on GitHub goes a long way.
Put your Xbox in Developer Mode via the Xbox Dev Mode app. Takes about 5 minutes.
Download, extract, and run XBVault. Enter your Xbox's IP and Dev Mode password in Settings.
Click Connect, browse the catalog, pick an emulator or app, and hit Install. That's it.
Free, open source, and no install required. Just download and run.
